USA? the net is so cheap over there. Here you pay like the price of a 980x for a few gb of data. 3G about 60 percent of the data that gets used belongs to the network. the ping is big to let it go to hspda. if tested a page once with gprs it was like 2mb then I open the same page via 3g it was like over a 100mb!!

It's not cheap to get anything better than dialup in a rural area. It starts at like $60.
