74.2GB - I don't need a hard drive that is huge, as I don't have a lot of programs, nor do I store a lot of data. I have more than one hard drive anyway, plus USB sticks, CD's - I've got plenty of storage space.

Initially, the external hard drive, mainly on account as a backup device. So people will copy all your important data files, music, video and image devices, and a comfortable knowing that their data is safely backed up. They are always expensive, so there is no real use at home, but more of a tool for the job.

A 320GB HDD is way too small for a new computer. And it's capacity/price ratio is low.

1TB is the size I'd use for a new one.
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

I actually agree with Duckula. 1 Terabyte Seagate is worth it. ;)
