Sorry, but pushing the tops down won't fix the caps.

I recently bought an old Jetway board from fleabay which only went for $0.99. Anyhow, the caps on it look like they were bulged but have had the tops pushed back down, and one of them has electrolyte coming out the bottom. I'd say the seller did that just so it -looked- sellable. The caps in question are all GSC Brand (now known as Sacon). I'm gonna recap it since I know someone who just wants a cheap computer for light use.

You got what I meant?
I meant that the hammer in the smilie was hammering down the capacitor tops to make them flat. Nevermind.

OK, so I finally got some replacment caps (mostly panny and rubycon, with 1 samxon GD series/Good series). You can see it on the test bench (Yes, that is my re-built 400W Rexpower PSU to the right) and in the hardware monitor section of the BIOS.

Several of the original GSC caps had bulging rubber seals. The 3rd one in from the left on the bottom row had electrolyte all over the seal.
