You mean both models are bad. my 1st one was a DG843 something IIRC. The other ones are DGN2000s
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

My netgear is still working too. :D I bought it used on Taobao a year ago.

We've been having a lot of problems with new netgear ADSL modem/routers at work, though. They always overheat and either the wireless and/or ADSL drops out. I heard of one guy who fixed it by modifying the case and adding a fan. My one does run quite hot, but works.

I plan on buying a new router soon. Cisco. But currently, I'm a Netgear. Never had a problem, but I've been told that Cisco is better for business purposes.

We use Cisco equipment for the new core gigabit switches at school. They seem to work fine; hwoever, the one old one that's still around is not working right...
