Gigabit having speed issues...

Postby shovenose » April 5th, 2011, 11:58 am

at 100Mbps i got 93Mb speeds.

But at Gigabit (1000Mbps) I only get 250Mbps?

WTF!?

I mean, it is 2x faster, but I was hopign to actually get near Gigabit speeds.
Any advice as to making my network faster?

TBH, I don't know. I never take much notice of speeds, although I do find that windows 7 and vistrash both seem to take their time copying files (whether it be over network or locally).
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D
