Postby duckula » February 27th, 2012, 7:20 pm

Rumour says Windows 8 Build 8250 has been chosen to be the Windows 8 consumer preview edition. It has been uploaded to MS's servers waiting for MS's offical release and will be available for downloading before March 1. The consumer preview edition will be expired on January 16, 2013 at 7:59 am.

Note before you download: Windows 8 Consumer Preview is prerelease software that may be substantially modified before it’s commercially released. Microsoft makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the information provided here. Some product features and functionality may require additional hardware or software. If you decide to go back to your previous operating system, you'll need to reinstall it from the recovery or installation media that came with your PC.

Yup, at least the UI of the pinball game looks nice. The fish on the background definitely does not, though. And farewell, the adorable start button. :S
