Postby c_hegge » March 17th, 2011, 1:56 pm

I have just finished rebuilding a Rexpower PL-400 PSU (OEM is Key Mouse/K-MEX). Here's what it got:
- A new case (from a dead Antec SP-350) with 2 Y-caps on the AC plug
- Two fans (Delta)
- New heatsinks
- New Primary switchers (2SC3320)
- New secondary silicon (30A for the 3.3 & 12V. 2x 30A for the 5v)
- New transformer
- An extra set of input filtering coils
- Two 0.47uF X Caps
- A 4A Rectifier in place of the 4 diodes
- 680uF Teapo Primary caps
- New secondary caps:
- 4x 2200uF 6.3 Canicon - 3300uF Panasonic FK
- 1x 2200uF 16v Canicon - 3300uF Samxon RS
- 2x 470uF 16v Canicon - Panny FM
- 1x 680uF canicon for 5vsb - 1000uF 6.3 Nichicon HE
- New connectors (a 24 pin ATX, 6x Molex/Peripheral, 8x SATA, 2x floppy)
- MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) for better surge protection
- A temperature controller for the fans
- A new label (Feel free to laugh at the warning)
