JFK,NY to CT

Does anyone know the least stressful route from JFK airport to southern Connecticut (not rush hour). I checked mapquest and only got info about time and distance but not quality of route. :huh:

EDIT: I have flown there in Flight Sim X, but it really doesn't tell you about the traffic.
