Embracing subtlety...

Let's just say that a large portion of this world is severely over-emphasised. Over-saturated colours, hyped-up "problems", and extra-bright illumination are just three of the many examples. No doubt subtlety has gone in the same direction as quality in general. I see that the design of this site is subtle (with the exception of the logo), but I thought some discussion might be in order. Anyone?

Note my edited signature. On the subject, I have no intention of adding an avatar, and have turned off display of others.
Information is far more fragile than the HDDs it's stored on. Being an afterthought is no excuse for a bad product.
