That's a bad 404 page. 404 pages, in my opinion, should be at least a little bit helpful, and that doesn't look professional at all. If people are to take you and your site seriously, you should consider getting something that does look more serious. Some people won't know what 404 means, you should at least specify 'Page not Found'.

An example of a good 404 page is the one over at Hack Forums. http://hackforums.net/page

- It specifies the page wasn't found.
- It has a search field to try to navigate around.

The graphic isn't too bad though. :)

I was trying to get into the sillier approach. I might at least include a link to the main site lol...

This is the best 404 page ever (click the animal)

It's not a plugin. You can do either of the following:

1) Go to cPanel --> Advanced --> Error Pages --> 404 (Not found).

2) http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+to+insert+a+40 ... my+website

I'm not using cPanel. But the process was similar.

I will change my 404 page maybe later to something a little more informative...

but one of the most visited websites on the web has a 404 page like mine...

I actually thought Google would be more professional. Look at the title...
Error 404 (Not Found)!!1<
