What methods do you (as a manager) use to manage staff?

I personally like to let me staff be relaxed, do their job when they want to, since they don't get paid, it's unfair to ask them to be online 24/7. If a staff member does however become so inactive that he/she isn't posting at all, the only option is to demote the person.

I have fired two moderators here and a second one is going to be unpromoted soon...all due to inactivity.

This forum doesn't need any moderators though, you could easily manage it yourself since it's a small forum.

Fishy and Kong. Microsuck might be fired too :-( but I'll send him a PM first. I gave Fishy and Kong like 3 warning PMs lol.

That's a good idea, I could give them a diamond on my Minecraft server for every post they make :D
