I see that there's design provision for a third PFC MOSFET (and for two SMD Y capacitors, which I guess would have a value of 1nF observing datasheets from Vishay Vitramon and Johanson Dielectrics). Do they intend on making an even more powerful fanless unit? :D

Well, if that was true, it would make RoHS seem ever so slightly more defensible. :D But I still doubt it.

Do you think I should change to my redesigned Silver Award? If not this time, then for subsequent reviews?
Information is far more fragile than the HDDs it's stored on. Being an afterthought is no excuse for a bad product.

No idea, but maybe some future paltinum units with fan, the same way Seasonic does with their platinum series.
