Antec SU-430 review

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

I know this is really long in the tooth, but.... if this doesn't have dual +12V rails then how did you get separate ripple/noise measurements (and voltage regulation results) from each +12V rail in the load tester? :O

My guess is that one connector might have had slightly better contact than the other. The same thing often happens to others too (see http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/ ... iew/1752/9 for example)

When I upgraded my HTPC (Antec Fusion/SU-430 PSU) I noticed the missing 12V Pi filter & installed a suitable ferrite coil. The nearby 1000uf 16v 10mm OST RLS was replaced with an 8mm Rubycon MBZ for a bit of space.
