Thinkpad X1 notebook pictured

A slim notebook from Lenovo was spotted on the net last week. It's called Thinkpad X1 and it's based on intel's Sandy bridge platform. Yesterday, a guy with the alias of Thinkfuture uploaded some pictures of the upcoming X1 notebook on the net:

Nice! Even has a trackpoint.
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards! :D

No idea. No word on performance or battery life. :D I think it's a good looking notebook. :lol:

I like the back-lighted keyboard. It's brilliant and it is convenient when you are typing in your room with all the lights turned off at night.

My ibm x31 laptop has a light at the top of the screen called a ThinkLight. You turn it on and it shines on the keyboard so you can work in the dark. I find it very useful. Backlighting is probably a better approach though.

It's great that your X31 has a light. My old ASUS laptop doesn't have such a thing. :(
