Apple confirms that Steve Jobs has passed away.

Postby duckula » October 5th, 2011, 4:56 pm

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend
and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his
spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

iSad.
Sure I've grown to dislike Apple products, but he was a brilliant man and I'm sad to see him go!
All the best to his friends and family.

Apple did actually spend several years in the past without Jobs, and almost went out of businness, so apple may not survive without him, but only time will tell for sure.

Steve Jobs will be missed, but I think he's being given to much credit for the invention of the ipod. His team deserves credit too lol.
