Overclocking

Have you ever overclocked your cpu or did you buy your cpu overclocked? Are you not worried about possible hardware failure or do you think its at a safe enough level?

My main PC has a Core 2 E8400 CPU, which has been overclocked from 3.0 to 3.6GHz pretty much from the day I got it. The possibility of damaging it doesn't worry me as long as I keep the stock voltage.

Those E series cpus could do a long way on air. Almost all the E8400 and E8600 do 4GHZ.
Took my cpu to 5.7 once
