Preview: SilentiumPC Aquarius M60W Pure Black

I’ve had another case here in my possession for some time which I intended to review after the Zalman Z9 Neo (and in fact, I’ve had it here for even longer than the Zalman case), namely the SilentiumPC Aquarius M60W Pure Black (SPC127). This mid-tower is slightly smaller (though wider) than the previously reviewed Z9 Neo, with dimensions of 445 × 440 × 210 mm. But it sells for pretty much the same price, starting at 1650 CZK (or about 300 PLN in Poland). And I can state right away that the material and build quality and not to mention the features are in totally different league compared to the Zalman.

SilentiumPC Aquarius M60W Pure Black

The Aquarius M60W comes with three fan filters, all of them easily removable: a bottom one for the power supply, a front one and a top one. There are three 140mm fans that come pre-installed (two in the front and a rear one), plus top positions for another two. There are also two external 5.25″ positions, three internal 3.5″ positions and two 2.5″.

Also present is a fan speed controller which provides for a selection of three speeds via a special speed selection switch on the front/top panel. We can also see two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 and of course the usual audio in/out jacks.
