Cooler Master launches showcase enclosure: MasterCase H500P

CoolerMaster has yet another MasterCase midi-tower enclosure, the MasterCase H500P (MCM-H500P-MGNN-S00), on the market. This one seems to be focusing on those users who like to see inside their case (or for others to see), kinda like a showcase (or show case? ᗡ-:). For that reason it comes with only steel frame and right side. The left side panel, front and upper panels are from tempered glass. Than there is also the vertical dual-slot bracket where you can mount a graphics card (with PCIe extender cable), besides the seven ordinary expansion slots. With dimensions of 544 × 242 × 542 mm, the MasterCase H500P weights 11.3 kg. It can accomodate motherboards from Mini-ITX to E-ATX.

The case comes with few other visual enhancements, like several covers for cabling, bottom-mounted power supply or for the motherboard tray opening (for easier CPU heatsink installation). There is also an RGB fan controller in the case with splitter for up to three fans. It already comes with two 200mm RGB fans in the front (running at 800 RPM) and one 140mm fan in the rear position (1200 RPM) from the factory. Alternatively it can support three 140mm fans in the front panel, and the same applies for the top positions.

Drive support includes two optional 5.25″ positions, two dedicated 2.5″ positions for SSD and two general 3.5″/2.5″ ones. The front panel carries the usual two audio jacks, two USB 2.0 ports and also two 3.0 ones. The recommended selling price for the MasterCase H500P is 4200 CZK or 150 Euros including VAT. This is still kinda more expensive, but definitelly more avilable than some of the other MasterCase configurations.
